¹⁴ So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away; and I went embittered in the wrath of my spirit, and ^(A)the hand of Yahweh was strong on me.

³ He sent forth the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head; and the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the ^[a]north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the figure of jealousy, which ^(B)provokes to jealousy, was located.

11 Moreover, the ^(A)Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of Yahweh which faced eastward. And behold, at the entrance of the gate, there were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and ^(B)Pelatiah son of Benaiah, officials of the people.

² I know a man ^(A)in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, ^(B)God knows—such a man was ^(C)caught up to the ^(D)third heaven. ³ And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, ^(E)God knows— ⁴ was ^(F)caught up into ^(G)Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.
