Ezekiel 29:8-10
Living Bible
8 Therefore the Lord God says: I will bring an army against you, O Egypt, and destroy both men and herds. 9 The land of Egypt shall become a desolate wasteland, and the Egyptians will know that I, the Lord, have done it.
10 “‘Because you said: “The Nile is mine! I made it!” therefore I am against you and your river, and I will utterly destroy the land of Egypt, from Migdol to Syene, as far south as the border of Ethiopia.

8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring a sword against you and kill both man and beast.(A) 9 Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
“‘Because you said, “The Nile(B) is mine; I made it,(C)” 10 therefore I am against you(D) and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt(E) a ruin and a desolate waste(F) from Migdol(G) to Aswan,(H) as far as the border of Cush.[a](I)
