Ezekiel 29:8-10
International Standard Version
8 “Therefore this is what the Lord God says: ‘Look out! I’m bringing violent death[a] in your direction! I’m going to kill every person and animal, 9 and the land of Egypt will be turned into a desolate ruin. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Because Egypt said, “The Nile is mine. I made it!” 10 therefore watch out! I’m coming to get[b] you! I’m going to attack your waterways, and then I’m going to make the land of Egypt a total wasteland from the Aswan[c] fortress to the border of Ethiopia![d]

New International Version
8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring a sword against you and kill both man and beast.(A) 9 Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
“‘Because you said, “The Nile(B) is mine; I made it,(C)” 10 therefore I am against you(D) and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt(E) a ruin and a desolate waste(F) from Migdol(G) to Aswan,(H) as far as the border of Cush.[a](I)
