²^(A)“Son of man, ^(B)set your face against ^(C)Pharaoh king of Egypt, ^(D)and prophesy against him and ^(E)against all Egypt;

²“Son of man, set your face against^(A) Pharaoh king of Egypt^(B) and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.^(C)

⁶Then all the inhabitants of Egypt ^(A)shall know that I am the Lord.

“Because you^[a] have been ^(B)a staff of reed to the house of Israel,

⁶Then all who live in Egypt will know that I am the Lord.

“‘You have been a staff of reed^(A) for the people of Israel.
