9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou art man, and not God, in the hand of him that [a]woundeth thee. 10 Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
11 Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

in the presence of those who kill you?
You will be but a mortal, not a god,(A)
in the hands of those who slay you.(B)
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised(C)
at the hands of foreigners.
I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”
