11 and I will execute judgements upon Moab. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
Proclamation against Edom
12 Thus says the Lord God: Because Edom acted vengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking vengeance upon them, 13 therefore thus says the Lord God, I will stretch out my hand against Edom, and cut off from it humans and animals, and I will make it desolate; from Teman even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword.

12 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Edom(B) took revenge on Judah and became very guilty by doing so, 13 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will stretch out my hand(C) against Edom and kill both man and beast.(D) I will lay it waste, and from Teman(E) to Dedan(F) they will fall by the sword.(G)
