22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men. 23 And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another. 24 Thus shall Ezekiel be unto you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do: when this cometh, then shall ye know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

22 And you will do as I have done. You will not cover your mustache and beard(A) or eat the customary food of mourners.(B) 23 You will keep your turbans(C) on your heads and your sandals(D) on your feet. You will not mourn(E) or weep but will waste away(F) because of[a] your sins and groan among yourselves.(G) 24 Ezekiel(H) will be a sign(I) to you; you will do just as he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.’
