2 “Son of man, write the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon [a]has (A)laid siege to Jerusalem this very day. 3 Speak a (B)parable to the (C)rebellious house and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord [b]God,
“Put on the (D)pot, put it on and also pour water in it;
4 [c](E)Put in it the pieces,
Every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder;
Fill it with choice bones.

4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
