New English Translation
7 She bestowed her sexual favors[a] on them; all of them were the choicest young men of Assyria. She defiled herself with all whom she desired[b]—with all their idols. 8 She did not abandon the prostitution she had practiced in Egypt, for in her youth men went to bed[c] with her, fondled her virgin breasts, and ravished her.[d] 9 Therefore I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians[e] for whom she lusted.

7 She gave herself as a prostitute to all the elite of the Assyrians and defiled herself with all the idols of everyone she lusted after.(A) 8 She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt,(B) when during her youth men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her.(C)
9 “Therefore I delivered her into the hands(D) of her lovers,(E) the Assyrians, for whom she lusted.(F)
