² “And you, ^(A)son of man, ^(B)will you judge, will you judge ^(C)the bloody city? ^(D)Then declare to her all her abominations.

^38 (A)And I will judge you ^(B)as women who commit adultery and ^(C)shed blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

³⁷ For ^(A)they have committed adultery, ^(B)and blood is on their hands. With their idols they have committed adultery, and they have even ^(C)offered up^[a] to them for food the children whom they had borne to me.

⁶ “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ^(A)Woe to the bloody city, to ^(B)the pot whose corrosion is in it, and whose corrosion has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, without making any choice.^[a]
