16 You will profane yourself in the sight of the nations, and you will (A)know that I am Yahweh.”’”
17 And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has become (B)dross to Me; all of them are (C)bronze and tin and iron and lead in the (D)furnace; they are the dross of silver.

16 When you have been defiled[a] in the eyes of the nations, you will know that I am the Lord.’”
17 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 18 “Son of man, the people of Israel have become dross(A) to me; all of them are the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace.(B) They are but the dross of silver.(C)
