40 For on my holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel, declares the Lord God, the whole house of Israel will worship me there—the whole nation in its homeland. There I will accept them. There I will request your offerings and your special gifts together with all your holy things. 41 I will accept you as a fragrant sacrifice when I bring you out from the nations and when I gather you from the lands among which you were scattered. Then through you, I will show that I am holy in the sight of the nations. 42 You will know that I am the Lord when I bring you back to the soil of Israel, to the land that I swore with an upraised hand to give to your fathers.

40 For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel,(A) declares the Sovereign Lord, there in the land all the people of Israel will serve me, and there I will accept them. There I will require your offerings(B) and your choice gifts,[a] along with all your holy sacrifices.(C) 41 I will accept you as fragrant incense(D) when I bring you out from the nations and gather(E) you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will be proved holy(F) through you in the sight of the nations.(G) 42 Then you will know that I am the Lord,(H) when I bring you into the land of Israel,(I) the land I had sworn with uplifted hand to give to your ancestors.(J)
