19 I am the Lord, your God: follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances; 20 keep holy my sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you may know that I am the Lord, your God.(A) 21 But their children rebelled against me: they did not follow my statutes or keep my ordinances that bring life to those who observe them; my sabbaths they desecrated. 19 I am the Lord your God;(A) follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.(B) 20 Keep my Sabbaths(C) holy, that they may be a sign(D) between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.(E)”
21 “‘But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws,(F) of which I said, “The person who obeys them will live by them,” and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger(G) against them in the wilderness.(H)
