The Sending of Ezekiel

2 Then He said to me, “Son of man, ^(A)stand on your feet that I may speak with you!”

³ Then He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have ^(A)rebelled against Me; ^(B)they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.

⁶ Now as for you, son of man, ^(A)do not fear them and do not fear their words, though ^(B)thistles and briers are with you and you sit on scorpions; neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house.

⁸ “Now as for you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and ^(A)eat what I am giving you.”

⁵ Then Yahweh said to me, “Son of man, ^(A)set your heart on and see with your eyes and hear with your ears all that I say to you concerning all the ^(B)statutes of the house of Yahweh and concerning all its laws; and set your heart on the entrance of the house, with all exits of the sanctuary.
