Ezekiel 17:4-6

4 He broke off the topmost of its young twigs and carried it to a land of trade and set it in a city of merchants. 5 Then he took from the seed of the land (A)and planted it in fertile soil.[a] He placed it beside abundant waters. (B)He set it like a willow twig, 6 and it sprouted and became a (C)low (D)spreading vine, and its branches turned towards him, and its roots remained where it stood. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out boughs.

5 “‘He took one of the seedlings of the land and put it in fertile soil. He planted it like a willow by abundant water,(B) 6 and it sprouted and became a low, spreading vine. Its branches(C) turned toward him, but its roots remained under it. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out leafy boughs.(D)
