46 Now your elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters who dwell north of you. And your younger sister who dwells south of you is Sodom and her daughters. 47 Yet you have not walked after their ways, or done according to their abominations. But, as if that were a very little thing, you were corrupted more than they in all your ways. 48 As I live, says the Lord God, Sodom your sister has not done, she nor her daughters, as you and your daughters have done.

46 Your older sister(A) was Samaria, who lived to the north of you with her daughters; and your younger sister, who lived to the south of you with her daughters, was Sodom.(B) 47 You not only followed their ways and copied their detestable practices, but in all your ways you soon became more depraved than they.(C) 48 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign(D) Lord, your sister Sodom(E) and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.(F)
