39 And I will give you into their hands, and they shall throw down your (A)vaulted chamber and break down (B)your lofty places. (C)They shall strip you of your clothes and take (D)your beautiful jewels and leave you (E)naked and bare. 40 (F)They shall bring up a crowd against you, (G)and they shall stone you and cut you to pieces with their swords. 41 (H)And they shall (I)burn your houses and (J)execute judgments upon you in the sight of many women. (K)I will make you stop playing the whore, and (L)you shall also give payment no more.

39 Then I will deliver you into the hands(A) of your lovers, and they will tear down your mounds and destroy your lofty shrines. They will strip you of your clothes and take your fine jewelry and leave you stark naked.(B) 40 They will bring a mob against you, who will stone(C) you and hack you to pieces with their swords. 41 They will burn down(D) your houses and inflict punishment on you in the sight of many women.(E) I will put a stop(F) to your prostitution, and you will no longer pay your lovers.
