33 Men pay prostitutes, but you pay all your lovers. You pay them to come to you. And they come from all around and sin sexually. 34 So you are different from other prostitutes. No one acts like a prostitute the same way you do. You give money, and no money is given to you. Yes, you are different.

33 All prostitutes receive gifts,(A) but you give gifts(B) to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favors.(C) 34 So in your prostitution you are the opposite of others; no one runs after you for your favors. You are the very opposite, for you give payment and none is given to you.
35 “‘Therefore, you prostitute, hear the word of the Lord!
