33 Most prostitutes force men to pay them for sex, but you gave money to your many lovers. You paid all the men around to come in to have sex with you. 34 You are just the opposite of most prostitutes who force men to pay them, because you pay the men to have sex with you.”
35 Prostitute, listen to the message from the Lord.

33 All prostitutes receive gifts,(A) but you give gifts(B) to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favors.(C) 34 So in your prostitution you are the opposite of others; no one runs after you for your favors. You are the very opposite, for you give payment and none is given to you.
35 “‘Therefore, you prostitute, hear the word of the Lord!
