Ezekiel 16:26-29

²⁶You engaged in promiscuous acts with Egyptian men, your well-endowed neighbors, and increased your prostitution^(A) to provoke Me to anger.

²⁷“Therefore, I stretched out My hand against you and reduced your provisions. I gave you over to the desire of those who hate you, the Philistine women,^(B) who were embarrassed by your indecent behavior. ²⁸Then you engaged in prostitution with the Assyrian men because you were not satisfied.^(C) Even though you did this with them, you were still not satisfied. ²⁹So you extended your prostitution to Chaldea,^(D) the land of merchants, but you were not even satisfied with this!

²⁶You engaged in prostitution^(A) with the Egyptians,^(B) your neighbors with large genitals, and aroused my anger^(C) with your increasing promiscuity.^(D) ²⁷So I stretched out my hand^(E) against you and reduced your territory; I gave you over^(F) to the greed of your enemies, the daughters of the Philistines,^(G) who were shocked by your lewd conduct. ²⁸You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians^(H) too, because you were insatiable; and even after that, you still were not satisfied.^(I) ²⁹Then you increased your promiscuity to include Babylonia,^[a]^(J) a land of merchants, but even with this you were not satisfied.^(K)
