Ezekiel 12:22-24

22 “Son of man, (A)what is this proverb that you[a] have about the land of Israel, saying, (B)‘The days grow long, and every vision comes to nothing’? 23 Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.’ But say to them, (C)The days are near, and the fulfilment[b] of every vision. 24 (D)For there shall be no more any (E)false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.

22 “Son of man, what is this proverb(A) you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by and every vision comes to nothing’?(B) 23 Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.’ Say to them, ‘The days are near(C) when every vision will be fulfilled.(D) 24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations(E) among the people of Israel.
