8 You have feared the sword. But I will bring a sword against you, says the Lord God. 9 I will force you out of the city. I will hand you over to strangers. I will surely punish you. 10 You will die by the sword. I will punish you at the border of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

8 You fear the sword,(A) and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.(B) 9 I will drive you out of the city and deliver you into the hands(C) of foreigners and inflict punishment on you.(D) 10 You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.(E) Then you will know that I am the Lord.
