Ezekiel 10:9-13

⁹^(A) and I saw the four wheels near the creatures. These wheels were shining like chrysolite.^[a] ¹⁰Each wheel was exactly the same and had a second wheel that cut through the middle of it,^[b] ¹¹so that they could move in any direction without turning. The wheels moved together whenever the creatures moved. ¹²^(B) I also noticed that the wheels and the creatures' bodies, including their backs, their hands, and their wings, were covered with eyes. ¹³And I heard a voice calling these “the wheels that spin.”

⁹I looked, and I saw beside the cherubim four wheels, one beside each of the cherubim; the wheels sparkled like topaz.^(A) ¹⁰As for their appearance, the four of them looked alike; each was like a wheel intersecting a wheel. ¹¹As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the cherubim faced; the wheels did not turn about^[a] as the cherubim went. The cherubim went in whatever direction the head faced, without turning as they went. ¹²Their entire bodies, including their backs, their hands and their wings, were completely full of eyes,^(B) as were their four wheels.^(C) ¹³I heard the wheels being called “the whirling wheels.”
