Ezekiel 1:27-28

²⁷Also from the appearance of His waist and upward ^(A)I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. ²⁸^(B)Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. ^(C)This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

²⁷I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.^(A) ²⁸Like the appearance of a rainbow^(B) in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.^(C)

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory^(D) of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown,^(E) and I heard the voice of one speaking.
