2 On the fifth day of the month (it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin), 3 the word of the Lord came to the priest Ezekiel son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was on him there.
4 As I looked, a stormy wind came out of the north: a great cloud with brightness around it and fire flashing forth continually, and in the middle of the fire, something like gleaming amber.

2 On the fifth of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin(A)— 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel(B) the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians.[a] There the hand of the Lord was on him.(C)
4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm(D) coming out of the north(E)—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,(F)
