16 The fashion of the wheels and their work was like unto a [a]Chrysolite: and they four had one form, and their fashion and their work was as one wheel in another wheel.

17 When they went, they went upon their four sides, and they returned not when they went.

18 They had also [b]rings, and height, and were fearful to behold, and their rings were full of eyes, round about them four.

16 This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz,(A) and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. 17 As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction(B) as the creatures went. 18 Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes(C) all around.
