12 Each creature faced all four directions, and so the group could go wherever they wished, without having to turn.
13 (A)Among[a] the creatures there was something that looked like a blazing torch, constantly moving. The fire would blaze up and shoot out flashes of lightning. 14 The creatures themselves darted back and forth with the speed of lightning.

12 Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.(A) 13 The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals(B) of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning(C) flashed out of it. 14 The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.(D)
