⁷ I will ^(A)take you as My people, and ^(B)I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out ^(C)from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

⁸ So ^(A)I have come down to ^(B)deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land ^(C)to a good and large land, to a land ^(D)flowing with milk and honey, to the place of ^(E)the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

¹⁷ So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for ^(A)on this same day I will have brought your ^[a]armies ^(B)out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance.

^51 (A)And it came to pass, on that very same day, that the Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt ^(B)according to their armies.

Bread from Heaven

16 And they ^(A)journeyed from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and ^(B)Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they departed from the land of Egypt.

⁶ Then Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, ^(A)“At evening you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt.

Jethro’s Advice^(A)

18 And ^(B)Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard of all that ^(C)God had done for Moses and for Israel His people—that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.

Israel at Mount Sinai

19 In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day, ^(A)they came to the Wilderness of Sinai.
