The Glory of the Lord

³⁴ Then the cloud^(A) covered the tent of meeting, and the glory^(B) of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

³⁵ Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory^(A) of the Lord filled the tabernacle.^(B)

The Burnt Offering

1 The Lord called to Moses^(A) and spoke to him from the tent of meeting.^(B) He said,

² You are to lay your hand on the head^(A) of your offering and slaughter it^(B) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.^(C) Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash^(D) the blood against the sides^(E) of the altar.^(F)

²⁶ The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area,^(A) in the courtyard^(B) of the tent of meeting.^(C)

²³ Moses and Aaron then went into the tent of meeting.^(A) When they came out, they blessed the people; and the glory of the Lord^(B) appeared to all the people.

¹⁶ In this way he will make atonement^(A) for the Most Holy Place^(B) because of the uncleanness and rebellion of the Israelites, whatever their sins have been. He is to do the same for the tent of meeting,^(C) which is among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

The Census

1 The Lord spoke to Moses in the tent of meeting^(A) in the Desert of Sinai^(B) on the first day of the second month^(C) of the second year after the Israelites came out of Egypt.^(D) He said:

⁸⁹ When Moses entered the tent of meeting^(A) to speak with the Lord,^(B) he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover^(C) on the ark of the covenant law.^(D) In this way the Lord spoke to him.
