²⁹ So the Israelites brought a freewill offering to the Lord, all the men and women whose hearts prompted them to bring something for all the work that the Lord, through Moses, had commanded to be done.^(A)

¹⁶ “If the sacrifice he offers is a vow^(A) or a freewill offering,^(B) it is to be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, and what is left over may be eaten on the next day.

²¹ “When a man presents a fellowship sacrifice to the Lord to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or flock, it has to be unblemished to be acceptable; there must be no defect in it.

²³ You may sacrifice as a freewill offering any animal from the herd or flock that has an elongated or stunted limb, but it is not acceptable as a vow offering.

³ and you make a food offering^(A) to the Lord from the herd or flock—either a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow,^(B) or as a freewill offering, or at your appointed festivals—to produce a pleasing aroma for the Lord,^(C)

⁴ Let every survivor,^(A) wherever he resides, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.”

⁶ All their neighbors supported them^[a](A) with silver articles, gold, goods, livestock, and valuables, in addition to all that was given as a freewill offering.

²⁸ Then I said to them, “You are holy to the Lord, and the articles are holy. The silver and gold are a freewill offering^(A) to the Lord God of your ancestors.
