²⁶ He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep^(A) all his decrees,^(B) I will not bring on you any of the diseases^(C) I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals^(D) you.”

⁴⁰ Keep^(A) his decrees and commands,^(B) which I am giving you today, so that it may go well^(C) with you and your children after you and that you may live long^(D) in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.

Love and Obey the Lord

11 Love^(A) the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.^(B)

¹⁷ You have declared this day that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in obedience to him, that you will keep his decrees, commands and laws—that you will listen to him.^(A)

⁴⁵ All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you^(A) until you are destroyed,^(B) because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.

¹⁶ For I command you today to love^(A) the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live^(B) and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

³ and observe^(A) what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper^(B) in all you do and wherever you go

¹⁴ And if you walk^(A) in obedience to me and keep my decrees and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life.”^(B)

¹² “As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, observe my laws and keep all my commands^(A) and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise^(B) I gave to David your father.
