31 And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand(A) of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared(B) the Lord and put their trust(C) in him and in Moses his servant.

It is you alone who are to be feared.(A)
    Who can stand(B) before you when you are angry?(C)
From heaven you pronounced judgment,
    and the land feared(D) and was quiet—
when you, God, rose up to judge,(E)
