¹⁴ The Lord will fight for you, and you must be quiet.”^(A)

³⁰ The Lord your God who goes before you^(A) will fight for you,^(B) just as you saw him do for you in Egypt.

²² Don’t be afraid of them, for the Lord your God fights for you.

⁶ Be strong and courageous;^(A) don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For the Lord your God is the one who will go with you;^(B) he will not leave you or abandon you.”^(C)

⁸ The Lord is the one who will go before you.^(A) He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you.^(B) Do not be afraid or discouraged.”

¹⁰ One of you routed a thousand^(A) because the Lord your God was fighting for you, as he promised.^[a](B)

¹⁷ for my father fought for you, risked his life, and rescued you from Midian,
