16 However, I’ve kept you standing[a] in order to show you my power and to declare my name in all the earth. 17 You are still acting arrogantly against my people by not letting them go. 18 Look! About this time tomorrow, I’ll send a severe hail storm, such as has not happened in Egypt from the day it was founded until now.

16 But I have raised you up[a] for this very purpose,(A) that I might show you my power(B) and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. 17 You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go. 18 Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm(C) that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now.(D)
