²² But on that day ^(A)I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, ^(B)that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.^[a]

⁷ But not a dog shall growl ^(A)against any of the people of Israel, either man or beast, that you may know that the Lord ^(B)makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.
