¹¹ Then Pharaoh also ^(A)called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they also, the ^[a](B)magicians of Egypt, did ^[b]the same with ^(C)their secret arts.

¹² And each one threw down his staff, and they became ^[a]serpents. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

¹⁸ Then ^[a]the magicians did the same with their secret arts in order to bring forth ^[b]gnats, but ^(A)they could not; so there were ^[c]gnats on man and beast.

^11 (A)And the ^[a]magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians ^[b]as well as on all the Egyptians.
