17 You shall not make any idols[a] for yourselves.

18 You shall observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread.[b] For seven days you are to eat bread without yeast, as I commanded you. Eat it at the time appointed in the month of Abib, because you came out of Egypt in the month of Abib.

19 The firstborn of every mother[c] is mine—the firstborn from all your male livestock, the firstborn of cattle and sheep.
