Exodus 34:13-15

13 But ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their images in pieces, and cut down their [a]groves,
14 (For thou shalt bow down to none other god, because the Lord, whose Name is (A)Jealous, is a jealous God.)
15 Lest thou make a (B)compact with the inhabitants of the land, and when they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, some man call thee, and thou (C)eat of his sacrifice.

13 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles.[a](A) 14 Do not worship any other god,(B) for the Lord, whose name(C) is Jealous, is a jealous God.(D)
15 “Be careful not to make a treaty(E) with those who live in the land; for when they prostitute(F) themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you and you will eat their sacrifices.(G)
