⁹ And the Lord said to Moses, ^(A)“I have seen this people, and indeed it is a ^[a]stiff-necked people!

⁷ “Remember! Do not forget how you ^(A)provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness. ^(B)From the day that you departed from the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.

^24 (A)You have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you.

^27 (A)for I know your rebellion and your ^(B)stiff neck. If today, while I am yet alive with you, you have been rebellious against the Lord, then how much more after my death?

¹⁹ And it came to pass, ^(A)when the judge was dead, that they reverted and behaved more corruptly than their fathers, by following other gods, to serve them and bow down to them. They did not cease from their own doings nor from their stubborn way.
