⁹“I have seen these people,” the Lord said to Moses, “and they are a stiff-necked^(A) people.

⁹And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

²⁷Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness^(A) of this people, their wickedness and their sin.
