6 Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people (A)sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
7 And the Lord said to Moses, (B)“Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt (C)have corrupted themselves. 8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which (D)I commanded them. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, (E)‘This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!’ ”

6 So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings.(A) Afterward they sat down to eat and drink(B) and got up to indulge in revelry.(C)
7 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt,(D) have become corrupt.(E) 8 They have been quick to turn away(F) from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol(G) cast in the shape of a calf.(H) They have bowed down to it and sacrificed(I) to it and have said, ‘These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.’(J)
