30 Now it happened on the next day, that Moses said to the people, “(A)You yourselves have [a]committed a great sin; but now I am going up to Yahweh, perhaps I can (B)make atonement for your sin.” 31 Then Moses returned to Yahweh and said, “Alas, this people has [b]committed a great sin, and they have made [c](C)gods of gold for themselves. 32 But now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, please blot me out from Your (D)book which You have written!”

30 The next day Moses said to the people, “You have committed a great sin.(A) But now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement(B) for your sin.”
31 So Moses went back to the Lord and said, “Oh, what a great sin these people have committed!(C) They have made themselves gods of gold.(D) 32 But now, please forgive their sin(E)—but if not, then blot me(F) out of the book(G) you have written.”
