^15 (A)Then Moses turned and went down from the mountain. And the two tablets of the testimony were in his hand, ^(B)tablets which were written on both ^[a]sides; they were written on one side and the other. ¹⁶ Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.

Stone Tablets like the Former Ones

34 Now Yahweh said to Moses, “Carve out for yourself ^(A)two stone tablets like the former ones, and ^(B)I will write on the tablets the words that were on the former tablets which you shattered.

²⁸ So he was there with Yahweh ^(A)forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread or drink water. And ^[a](B)he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, ^(C)the Ten ^[b]Commandments.

¹⁰ And Yahweh gave me the two tablets of stone ^(A)written by the finger of God; and on them were all the words which Yahweh had spoken with you at the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly.
