Exodus 32:12-14
1599 Geneva Bible
12 (A)Wherefore shall the Egyptians [a]speak, and say, He hath brought them out maliciously for to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the earth? turn from thy fierce wrath, and [b]change thy mind from this evil toward thy people.
13 Remember [c]Abraham, Isaac, and Israel thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidest unto them, (B)I will multiply your seed, as the stars of heaven, and all this land, that I have spoken of, will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.
14 Then the Lord changed his mind from the evil, which he threatened to do unto his people.

12 Why should the Egyptians say, ‘It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth’?(A) Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster(B) on your people. 13 Remember(C) your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self:(D) ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars(E) in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land(F) I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.’” 14 Then the Lord relented(G) and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.
