^2 (A)And the angel of ^[a]Yahweh appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of the ^(B)bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed.

Yahweh Descends on Mount Sinai

^18 (A)Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because Yahweh descended upon it ^(B)in fire; and its smoke ascended like ^(C)the smoke of a furnace, and ^(D)the whole mountain trembled violently.

^13 [a]As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of ^(A)fire, ^[b]like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and lightning was ^[c]flashing from the fire.

The Ancient of Days

⁴¹ “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘^(A)Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the ^(B)eternal fire which has been prepared for ^(C)the devil and his angels;

^13 (A)each man’s work will become evident, for ^(B)the day will indicate it because it is revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test ^[a]the quality of each man’s work.

²⁷ but a terrifying expectation of ^(A)judgment and ^(B)the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

²⁹ for ^(A)our God is a consuming fire.
