³⁷ For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.^(A)

²⁷ Whatever touches any of the flesh will become holy,^(A) and if any of the blood is spattered on a garment, you must wash it in the sanctuary area.

²⁹ Any male in a priest’s family may eat it;^(A) it is most holy.^(B)

¹⁹ When they go out into the outer court where the people are, they are to take off the clothes they have been ministering in and are to leave them in the sacred rooms, and put on other clothes, so that the people are not consecrated^(A) through contact with their garments.^(B)

¹⁹ You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?^(A)
