15 Then Moses slaughtered it,[a] took the blood, and applied it with his finger to the horns of the altar on all sides, purifying(A) the altar. He poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so that atonement can be made on it.[b](B)

15 Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood,(A) and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar(B) to purify the altar.(C) He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.(D)
