²¹^(A)You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and ^(B)in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

²¹Place the cover on top of the ark^(A) and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law^(B) that I will give you.

²And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke; and ^(A)you shall put them in the ark.’
