16 So thou shalt put in the Ark the [a]Testimony, which I shall give thee.
17 Also thou shalt make a [b][c]Mercy seat of pure gold, two cubits and an half long and a cubit and an half broad.
18 And thou shalt make two Cherubims of gold: of work beaten out with the hammer shalt thou make them at the two ends of the Mercy seat.

17 “Make an atonement cover(B) of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 18 And make two cherubim(C) out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.
