⁷ Then he took ^(A)the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “^(B)All that Yahweh has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”

²⁷ As for you, go near and hear all that Yahweh our God says; then speak to us all that Yahweh our God speaks to you, and we will hear and do it.’

^24 (A)And the people said to Joshua, “We will serve Yahweh our God, and we will listen to His voice.”
